SGE has a number of unique tubing products (Glass Lined Tubing - GLT™ , and PEEK™ coated fused silica tubing - PEEKsil™) that allow chromatographers to perform applications not possible without these formats.
SGE stainless steel tubing is available in a number of different size combinations, suitable for your tubing needs.
Features and BenefitsDATASGE GLT™ (Glass Lined Tubing) was invented and patented to address the problem of achieving a completely inert chromatographic system. It is made by fusing a borosilicate glass lining onto the inside surface of stainless steel tubing. GLT can either be used as straight tubing or it can be machined or shaped into virtually any chromatography accessory. The options are limitless.
Features and BenefitsDATAPEEKsil® is constructed from a core of smooth precision bore fused silica tubing bonded to a PEEK outer sheath. It is manufactured to exacting tolerances of bore size and concentricity, for reproducible flow rates and reliable connections.
The separation achieved is easily lost in tubing and connectors as a result of dispersion. PEEKsil reduces dispersion and therefore loss of efficiency, sensitivity and resolution.
Features and BenefitsProteCol® Bio-Inert UHPLC column hardware provides the foundation for improved separations and analysis.
Traditional UHPLC column hardware is made from stainless steel which may influence the behaviour of analytes with known metal chelating activity. The surface roughness of stainless steel column hardware also contributes to the dispersion effects, resulting in lower performance of the column.
ProteCol Bio - Inert UHPLC column hardware is glass lined, providing substantial improvements in smoothness and inertness to optimize the analysis.
Features and BenefitsCoated fused silica tubing exhibits excellent flexibility, chemical stability, tensile strength and exacting tolerances making it the tubing of choice for GC capillary applications, LC tubing and other micro tubing requirements.
Features and BenefitsAvoid use with hydrofluoric or phosphoric acids, alkalis and alkali - metalized compounds as dissolution of silica glass and surface devitrification may occur.
